Kandace (Yee) Hopfinger, DDS, MS

Dr. Kandace (Yee) Hopfinger was born and raised in Topeka and attended Washburn Rural High School. She went on to attend the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC), where she graduated summa cum laude and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry. She continued her education at the UMKC School of Dentistry, graduating magnum cum laude and earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Following dental school, she completed a 2-year advanced specialty training, receiving a Master of Science and Certificate in Endodontics at Marquette University. She is a published researcher in the Journal of Endodontics with her thesis studying factors affecting root canal success. She is a board-certified endodontist, achieving this recognition from the American Board of Endodontics. Her extensive training focused on the diagnosis and treatment of dental pain, endodontic therapy, and the preservation of natural teeth. She previously practiced in the Chicago area for a few years and is thrilled to return to her hometown.
Dr. Hopfinger is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care using the latest techniques and technology in endodontics. She strives to ensure every patient feels comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their treatment experience.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two girls. She also enjoys chiefs games, making sourdough bread, and traveling.
